Thomas Westbrook Waldron, a captain in the 1745 expedition against the Fortress of Louisbourg, afterwards a commissioner at Albany, New York, a Royal councillor in 1782〔"Pepperell Papers" In: ''New England historical and genealogical register'', (1865) Volume 19, p.223 (footnote).
